Why I'm Thankful for Pharma Employees This Year

November 19, 2020

2020 has been a heck of a year. At the start I never would have thought my wife and I would be stuck at home spending Thanksgiving by ourselves. But as Covid19 cases continue to rise, and having family who recently contracted the virus, it seems like the only responsible thing to do.

With a rough winter ahead of us, continued rise in cases, lockdowns, and the possible economic consequences, it feels tough to be thankful this Thanksgiving.

For myself however, I'm more thankful for my Pharma clients then I have ever been.

Pharma is Truly Essential

Pfizer and Moderna have already shown amazing results in their initial vaccine trials, and with the amount of other companies working on their own vaccines it seems likely we'll get more positive news over the coming months. It seems there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

And it's all thanks to the Pharmaceutical industry.

For all the turmoil this year has brought I think many have gained a new perspective for the importance of your industry. It is more essential now then it has ever been.

And while 2020 has been a year of lockdowns and Covid19, I'm hopeful that 2021 will be a year of returning to normal. I know it won't be instant, but by this time next year I feel confident I'll be having Thanksgiving with my whole family.

My Thanks to You

The Pharma industry is particularly great for its wealth of financial benefits and I hope you have many of your own benefits to be thankful for this year.

If you don't, or if you feel as though you don't get the appreciation you deserve just know that I'm grateful for the work that you do.

Even if you don't work directly on anything related to Covid19 you're part of an industry that is extremely important - and that is something to be thankful for.

I hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving, a great holiday season, and that we all make 2021 a year to remember.

Thanks for all that you do.
